How to Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to understand how account deletion works in Clenz.

To initiate the account deletion process, you have two options:

Option 1: Through the App
  • Open the Clenz app
  • Go to Profile (tap the gear icon)
  • Tap "Delete Account"
  • Confirm your decision when prompted
Once you submit your deletion request, we'll begin processing it immediately.

After you request account deletion, you will be automatically logged out from the Clenz app on your current device. This includes:

  • Your smartphone (iOS or Android)
  • Any tablets where you've logged in
  • Web browser sessions (if applicable)

This automatic logout ensures your account security during the deletion process and prevents any accidental activity on your account.

What happens to my data immediately?
Your account is marked for deletion, but no data is removed yet. This allows for the 30-day grace period described in the next step.

Your account will enter a 30-day grace period. During this time:

What you CAN do:
  • Log back in at any time - Your login credentials remain active
  • Cancel the deletion - Simply logging back in automatically cancels the deletion request
  • Access your data - All your routines, photos, and progress are still available

What happens if you log back in?
If you log back into your account during this 30-day period, your deletion request will be automatically cancelled. Your account will be restored to full active status, and you can continue using Clenz as normal.

Important: Make sure you truly want to delete your account before the 30-day period ends. Set a reminder if you're uncertain!

If you don't log back in within 30 days, your account and all associated user data will be permanently deleted from our servers.

What gets deleted:
  • Personal Information: Name, email, profile details
  • Skin Profile: Skin type, concerns, and goals
  • Skincare Routines: All custom and built-in routines
  • Progress Data: Photos, tracking data, and timeline
  • Product Library: Scanned products and notes
  • Rewards & Points: All accumulated points and achievements
  • Account Settings: Preferences and notification settings

⚠️ Warning: Once your data is deleted after the 30-day period, it cannot be recovered. There is no way to undo this action.

What we retain:
In accordance with legal requirements and our Privacy Policy, we may retain certain anonymized data for:
  • Legal compliance and regulatory obligations
  • Fraud prevention and security purposes (anonymized)
  • Statistical analysis (aggregated, non-identifiable)
This retained data cannot be linked back to you personally.
